After completing my graduation I wanted to do something which makes me independent but to my disappointment I realized its not that easy to have something in your plate without struggling. There were many ways I could work but I wanted to be myself and real, the way I look at things was completely different and I would always end up being a clown in front of people. I almost gave up. I didn't feel like talking to anyone with the fear that people would make fun again.
Then one day I was literally moved when the death of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam happened. He was such an inspiration not only to the young but also to all ages.
I remembered one of his famous sayings "Dream is not the one that lets you sleep rather dream is the one that doesn't let you sleep." I was totally moved. I couldn't understand that we have lost such a gem. I was still in shock. Later that day I decided if I change my attitude towards people and the way I look at things that might help me to reach goals.
I have always looked up to Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam and wonderful work he did for the nation. Next day with a bright morning I changed my mind and decided to be optimistic whatever it may be, with a new hope in heart I met with so many new people and learned a lot of things, and today when anything comes up I take that as a challenge with determination. Nothing can stop you from doing if you have the courage and if you are a hard worker. When people see me today they say they are seeing a real me with positive attitude who knows how to survive. I am so happy with this change that I am striving hard in building my career and I believe one day I will surely achieve something big if I continue this positive attitude towards life.
Hardships, struggles, sorrows, and happiness are all a part of life, but how we handle them matters most. This attitude of mine has completely changed my life, now I can walk with head high not caring about what others think. It is us who make the future not others, if we keep on working towards our dream by not letting anything affect it then I am sure any one of you out there will reach pinnacle. My inspiration Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, I have learned so much from him that it has completely changed my point of view towards many things in life.
What I would like to conclude is - A little change in your life changes everything. Be it a surrounding, society, how people treats you and vice versa. With a positive outlook you can win hearts of people. Also be confident in whatever you are doing, don't worry about the result just go with it, give it your best shot. Be it an exam, interview, or anything else for that matter. If you are confident about your work nothing can stop you from achieving the set goals. Today I am working towards my goals.
